Coffee from the western regions of Honduras is considered some of the best in the country. The highest mountain ranges are located in the western part of Honduras, where coffee is grown at higher elevations, in temperate climates, and at cooler temperatures. This allows the fruits and grains to ripen more slowly and grow larger , producing a more desirable flavor profile.
Noticeable sweetness of cane sugar with hints of caramel, cocoa, and dark chocolate, with a delicate peach aftertaste. Full, creamy body and light citrus acidity.
