DESCRIPTION

Zeaxanthin belongs to the group of carotenoids, substances found in vegetables and fruits. The OmniXan Zeaxanthin contained in this product is a patented carotenoid derived from pepper fruits. Zeaxanthin is found in the lens and retina of the eye, particularly in the macula, which is responsible for visual acuity. The most important property of carotenoids is their antioxidant effect (they neutralize the harmful effects of free radicals). Zeaxanthin (one of the carotenoids with the most powerful antioxidant properties), which accumulates primarily in the eye tissue, supports the destruction of free radicals formed under the influence of daylight rays and the oxidative damage they cause. Thanks to its action, zeaxanthin relieves the symptoms of eye fatigue and supports visual function.
