DESCRIPTION

The organic Jaś white beans are best known as the main ingredient in the popular "beans po Bretonsku" (Breton-style beans) on Polish tables. They are excellent in soups, stews, pastas, pâtés, and salads. They are an excellent source of fiber and vegetable protein.

METHOD OF PREPARATION

The beans, previously soaked and rinsed for at least 12 hours, are boiled in fresh, unsalted water for about 60 minutes until tender. Salt the beans only at the end of the cooking process.
