Preparation instructions Baking pan 25 cm x 28 cm For the dough prepare: • 4 eggs, for the cream: • 750 ml milk, • 150 g softened butter. Poncho: • 125 ml (half a glass) boiled water, • 1 teaspoon sugar, • Juice of ¼ lemon. 1. Prepare the dough in a tall container, whisk the eggs, gradually add the baking mix and mix on high for 4-5 minutes until you have a smooth, light mixture. Pour the finished mixture into a previously greased and floured or lined with baking paper tin (25 x 36 cm). Place in a slightly preheated oven and bake at 180°C for approx. 25 minutes (without fan). 2. Prepare the cream with ¾ liter of milk, pour the glass into a larger container and mix the contents of the package. Bring the remaining milk to the boil. Remove the milk from the heat, pour in the dissolved powder, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Allow everything to cool. Gradually add the cold cream to the grated, softened butter, stirring constantly until a smooth mixture is formed. 3. Cut the baked and cooled cake horizontally into 2 equal parts. Mix both halves of the dough with a cold punch made from 125 ml of boiled water, a teaspoon of sugar, and the juice of a quarter of a lemon, if desired. Spread one part of the cake with the previously prepared cream and cover with the other part of the cake. Refrigerate the prepared dough. Finished fondant can be sprinkled with powdered sugar before serving. Idea for: Fondant with whipped cream: Beat 500 ml of chilled cream with a 30% or 36% background with a mixer for a while. Add 2 sachets of Gellwe cream and continue beating until the mixture is stiff. Spread the whipped cream on top of the custard and cover with the other sponge cake half. Refrigerate the finished cake. Decorate with powdered sugar before serving.
