Vitamin E 400 IU 60 SWANSON Capsules

Vitamin E is a term that refers to eight different compounds that fall into two categories: tocopherols and tocotrienols. Each category is further divided into alpha, beta, gamma, and delta. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin produced exclusively in plants, and its natural sources include wheat germ oil, whole grains, and green leafy vegetables. Humans and animals cannot synthesize vitamin E; therefore, they must obtain it from food. The actual term "vitamin E" is used only for alpha-tocopherol, however, the beneficial properties of both the tocopherols and the D-alpha-tocopheryl tocotrienols contained in the product have 100% of the biological activity of natural vitamin E.
Vitamin E is one of the most important natural antioxidants (it fights free radicals and protects the body from their harmful effects). This vitamin "captures" free radicals and converts them into harmless substances that are later excreted from the body. It protects polyunsaturated acids (omega-3 and omega-6) from oxidation—after oxidation, fatty acids are no longer polyunsaturated.

INGREDIENTS
Vitamin E, capsule shell: gelatin, vegetable humectant, glycerin, soybean oil, purified water.

APPLICATION
One capsule per day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This product cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. This product is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Store at room temperature out of reach of small children.
