FRITTLE HEARTS
250g wheat flour, 130g butter, Gellwe vanilla sugar, 1 egg, 3 tablespoons sugar, Gellwe baking powder, smooth strawberry jam, Gellwe strawberry jelly. Thoroughly mix the flour, a flat teaspoon of baking powder, butter, 1 egg, 3 tablespoons sugar, and 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar and knead the dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out whole circles with a glass, cutting a heart-shaped hole into every other slice. Bake on a greased and floured baking sheet at 180°C for about 10–15 minutes. Spread the jam over the full circles and place the circles with a hole on top. Carefully fill the hearts with setting jelly dissolved in 300ml water. Allow the jelly to set completely.
