APPLICATION :
Rinse the grits and pour water over them (2 glasses of water per glass of grits). Place the pot over low heat and cook the grits for about 10-15 minutes. It's best not to stir the grits, as they will stick together, but if the heat is low, they shouldn't burn. You can add a teaspoon of oil. Remove the grits from the heat, cover, and place them in a warm place to absorb the remaining water.
