Grape seed oil is extracted from grape seeds and has a delicate flavor. Its unique advantage is its ability to preserve the natural flavor of foods cooked with it. It is often used in the Mediterranean diet in salads, sauces, and for frying and stewing. Grape seed oil is characterized by its high content of unsaturated fats, including polyunsaturated fats (EFAs - essential fatty acids). Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet contributes to maintaining normal cholesterol levels.
