Obtained from the nectar of common thyme flowers, it has a strong, intense aroma. Its taste is not too sweet, but distinctly sour.
Generally considered one of the most aromatic and tasty types of honey.
Due to its characteristic ruby ​​red color with an amber hue (amber orange after crystallization) it is called “Red Honey”.
Its unique flavor is widely used in French cuisine. It is also used as a base ingredient or additive to flavor mead and tinctures.
It has powerful antibacterial properties. It is recommended for all bacterial infections, including those of the upper respiratory tract, digestive system, or skin.
