Spirulina and Chlorella ALGAEXP3 are sustainably grown in a pristine South Indian location without disturbing or impacting natural ecosystems through harvesting processes. It all starts with a small amount of lab water containing microalgae cells (carefully identified – Arthrospira platensis and Chlorella vulgaris ). Producer Parry provides these cells with increasing amounts of water space under optimal conditions (sunlight, medium with key nutrients, temperature) so they can grow exponentially. This means that these freshwater microalgae species do not originate from the ocean or sea, but are found in nature – in a pond or lake.
