The silymarin contained in milk thistle has a very broad spectrum of beneficial effects on liver cells. It exhibits the ability to inhibit lipid peroxidation, increases the liver's regenerative capacity, and prevents the penetration of toxins. The most biologically active component of silymarin is silybin.
Artichoke improves digestion by stimulating the secretion of bile acids by the liver.
Turmeric, and especially its curcumin, has antioxidant properties. Reishi mushroom supports the immune system and helps lower cholesterol levels.
INGREDIENTS
Milk thistle seed extract ( Silybum marianum ) standardized to contain at least 80% silymarin (of which at least 50% silybin), turmeric rhizome extract ( Curcuma longa ) 10:1, artichoke leaf extract ( Cynara scolymus ) 10:1, and reishi mushroom extract ( Ganoderma lucidum ) standardized to contain at least 40% polysaccharides.
