The mucous compounds contained in the black mallow flower have a protective and enveloping effect on the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat and facilitate the coughing up of secretions in the throat.
It is used as a cough suppressant, decongestant, and mild relaxant for catarrh of the upper respiratory tract and inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, for bronchitis, hoarseness, difficulty expectorating, and dry coughs. It is also used for stomach complaints and bladder infections, especially in children and the elderly.
Composition: Black Mallow 100% flower
Preparation method:
1-2 teaspoons of dried fruit per cup, pour over hot water and let it steep for 8-10 minutes
