DESCRIPTION
Yanachaga is a natural ground cacao bean, an excellent addition to cocktails or as an ingredient in drinks. After being separated from the cocoa beans, the beans are fermented and dried, then frozen to -60 degrees Celsius and ground. They are not roasted or alkalized, which preserves their properties, flavor, and vibrant color characteristic of raw cacao beans. They are also not defatted, retaining the fat that gives drinks a velvety texture. This is not the traditional cacao we use for baking; after brewing, it has a distinct hint of fermentation.

PREPARATION
Mix two teaspoons of cocoa with hot milk or plant-based milk, or sweeten to taste. Due to the high fat content, mixing by hand may not be sufficient.
