RD1 decontamination solution is a specialized preparation for decontaminating surfaces and objects contaminated with chemical and biological substances. The formulation, based on an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite, provides effective action against a broad spectrum of dangerous compounds, including chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial substances.

• Color: colorless to slightly yellow

• pH value: strongly alkaline (approx. 13.0 at 20°C)

• Solubility: completely miscible with water

Application:
RD1 is used in chemical and biological emergency situations as well as in laboratories and industrial facilities. It is used to neutralize toxic substances, including aggressive irritants and organic compounds.

Hazard classification:

• H290: May be corrosive to metals.
• H314: Causes severe skin burns and serious eye damage.
• P280: Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, and eye and face protection.
• P303+361+353: In case of skin contact: remove contaminated clothing immediately and rinse skin thoroughly with water.
• P305+351+338: In case of eye contact: rinse carefully with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

Storage conditions:
Store in the tightly closed original container in a cool and well-ventilated place. Avoid direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
