DESCRIPTION:
Food for special medical purposes in the form of a hard capsule. Contains butyric acid in the form of microencapsulated sodium butyrate with extended release (SR). Sodium butyrate provides butyric acid to nourish the intestinal epithelium .
For dietary treatment:
- for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
- in inflammatory diseases of the intestinal mucosa.
- in cases of intestinal microbiota disturbances, e.g., after antibiotic therapy.
- in case of functional disorders of the intestine (constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain, flatulence).
INGREDIENTS:
Sodium butyrate, shell (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), filler: cellulose, thickener: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, coating agent: ethylcellulose.

APPLICATION:
Swallow the capsule with a drink of water. We recommend taking 1 capsule twice daily after a meal.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
This product must be used under medical supervision. It should not be the sole source of nutrition. This product is intended for adults only. It should not be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women, or unless medically indicated. This product is not intended for parenteral use.
STORAGE:
Store in a dark and dry place at room temperature and out of reach of small children.
