The natural habitat for algae, seaweed, and black Atlantic leaf is the North Atlantic. Algae are considered a natural source of iodine. Iodine helps maintain the proper functioning of the nervous system and normal cognitive function. Iodine also contributes to the maintenance of normal energy metabolism, aids in the proper production of thyroid hormones and proper thyroid function, and contributes to the maintenance of healthy skin.
Kelp or bladderwrack is helpful in weight control.
Aids in digestion, can increase satiety and helps reduce weight and body.
The body's own Ascophyllum contributes to reducing fat absorption and supports regular bowel movements. It also contributes to maintaining healthy skin, its structure, moisture, and firmness.
