AjiPure are amino acids produced through fermentation from natural, non-animal raw materials. The certified purity of the amino acids is between 99-100%. BCAAs are three branched-chain amino acids that play a key role in muscle growth and recovery. They make up approximately one-third of all muscle proteins. All three amino acids are classified as essential amino acids, meaning they must be supplied to the body through food.

Of all BCAAs, L-leucine is the most potent activator of an enzyme known as mTOR kinase (its activation can positively influence muscle protein synthesis). Leucine is converted into several metabolites, one of which, MHB, is available as a standalone supplement. Leucine stimulates insulin secretion, both alone and in synergy with carbohydrates, is oxidized in muscle, and can be an energy source for exercise. It also regulates the activity of neurotransmitter precursors in the brain and the release of enkephalins, which are thought to influence pain perception and the development of feelings of pleasure and satisfaction.
L-Isoleucine, one of the branched-chain amino acids, contributes to post-exercise muscle recovery, has anti-catabolic effects, and is involved in muscle protein synthesis. Isoleucine mediates the regulation of sugar (glucose) by increasing glucose absorption and utilization during exercise.
L-Valine is essential for maintaining normal cell and organ function. It is an amino acid that is particularly important for regulating nitrogen balance in the body. Valine is also valuable for the immune system, the nervous system, enhancing cognitive function, and reducing insomnia and nervousness. Like the other two branched-chain amino acids, valine has an anti-catabolic effect and positively influences muscle recovery after exercise.
