Omega Me fish omega-3 supplement from Health Labs contains 500 mg of EPA and 250 mg DHA, which is the recommended daily dose in one capsule. DHA, EPA and ALA are essential unsaturated fatty acids ( EFAs ) of Omega-3. The ALA acid that we get from food can be slightly converted into EPA and DHA through biosynthesis, but this is not enough. The main source of EPA and DHA omega-3 is fatty fish such as anchovies, mackerel, tuna, salmon, herring, seafood and algae, so it is worth consuming them daily, however it is not always possible. EPA fatty acids contribute to the proper functioning of the heart. Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), among other things, contributes to the proper functioning of the brain and supports vision.
