NKO ^® (Neptune Krill Oil) is a combination of phospholipids with OMEGA-3 acids in a form not found anywhere else in nature. Antioxidants are necessary to maintain the levels of OMEGA-3 fatty acids essential for humans, and NKO ^® already contains them, including the most potent of these – astaxanthin, a xanthophyll pigment.

NKO™ is a synergistic combination of essential fatty acids, essential fatty acids, phospholipids and antioxidants.

The most important phospholipid contained in the oil is phosphatidylcholine. This ingredient, a form of lecithin, is a very important nutrient for the brain. For our bodies to properly process the supplemented phospholipids, they must be associated with the appropriate type of fat that the body cannot synthesize itself. Such fats are omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA).
