Natural Sleep On™ has a sleep-promoting effect and helps you fall asleep exceptionally well due to its L-tryptophan content.
Natural Sleep On is a natural dietary supplement based on L-tryptophan, melatonin, and B vitamins, which have a calming and relaxing effect. It allows you to sleep freely and deeply. It has a positive effect on sleep quality and makes it easier to fall asleep.
It is one of the most important amino acids that regulates the functioning of the entire organism. It plays a role in the functioning of the nervous system. Its deficiency leads to a drop in energy, insomnia, poor well-being (constant mood swings), and depression. It is often used for depression, anxiety, periods of excessive sleeplessness, or stress, and supports the body in unpleasant conditions.
Since L-tryptophan is an exogenous amino acid, our body does not produce it on its own . Therefore, it must be supplied with food. It is also a source of serotonin, which actively regulates the nervous system . In addition, it is involved in the production of melatonin, which is responsible for regulating our sleep-wake cycle . Tryptophan is also actively involved in the lactation process, as well as in the reproduction and secretion of growth hormone. It also affects the levels of other neurotransmitters. It is also an active participant in building muscle mass and strengthens the immune system. In addition to everything, it regulates metabolic work in the body.
It is naturally present in products such as: egg whites, milk, cheese, pumpkin seeds, spirulina, fish and meat (especially poultry).
In some people, too much tryptophan can manifest itself with malaise, drowsiness, nausea, headaches, abdominal pain, vomiting, blurred vision, and dry mouth. These symptoms are very rare and are always caused by improper supplementation. Therefore, it is very important to use the recommended daily dose indicated on the packaging.
It's a naturally occurring substance in our bodies. It begins to seep in shortly after dark. It's produced in the pineal gland, a cluster of cells deep in the brain, and they receive a signal from the eyes that night is coming. As this information is relayed throughout the body, production of this compound begins, and when its concentration reaches an appropriate level, we become sleepy .
Melatonin is the most important regulator of our biological clock. Because it strongly influences our circadian rhythm, it is used to treat insomnia , including in people with delayed sleep phase syndrome. It is also useful for people suffering from eye diseases or traveling by plane to different time zones.
Melatonin production is disrupted on cloudy days when the afternoon becomes gray and gloomy. Our pineal gland then begins secreting it earlier. As a result, we become sleepy more quickly and often wake up and sleep too little at night. Incorrect sleep impairs our body, preventing it from regenerating properly. It also disrupts our metabolism, which also promotes weight gain.
People with severely disrupted biological clocks (especially those who work at night under bright artificial light) have low melatonin levels. It's important to remember that melatonin is also a powerful antioxidant, meaning it's a powerful substance that eliminates free radicals—chemical compounds that damage healthy cells, accelerate aging, and, unfortunately, promote the development of cancer.
Unfortunately, many studies show that people with low melatonin levels are more likely to develop breast, prostate, and colon cancer. Scientists believe that low levels can also affect our other organs, leading to an increased susceptibility to eye (inflammatory) diseases, bowel disease, and even diabetes.
Especially in autumn and winter, when it gets dark earlier, many people experience so-called winter depression due to a lack of sunlight. Unfortunately, the darkness during the day causes the human body to produce melatonin at the wrong time, which hinders normal and proper functioning.
This is an extremely useful group of chemical compounds that differ in structure and have good water solubility. Due to their properties, these vitamins are unstable, and only vitamin B12 is stored in our bodies, deposited in minimal amounts.
They influence the entire cellular metabolism and play an active role in it. B vitamins are components of many enzymes or are required for their activation. The need for these vitamins increases during convalescence, after surgery, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding. They also increase with the use of various chemical, laxative, and diuretic medications. Some vitamins in this group, such as vitamins B1, B2, and B12, are synthesized in our bodies by certain intestinal bacteria.
Returning to the instability of B vitamins, this is why the body must absorb them from foods or various preparations in which they are present. But only as much as is needed at the time. Excess is eliminated through urine, feces, or sweat. Since the unused portion of the vitamins does not remain in the body, there is no risk of poisoning.
The Food and Nutrition Institute provides strictly defined doses of B vitamins for women (including pregnant and breastfeeding women), men, and children.
A deficiency of B vitamins can lead to many disorders of the nervous and digestive systems, an increase in homocysteine levels (a risk factor for the development of cardiovascular diseases), inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes and general malaise.
