Pearl barley belongs to a group of natural, whole-grain, highly valuable cereals. It is made from the highest quality barley grains. It is versatile in cooking; it can be eaten as a standalone dish or as an ingredient in soups, casseroles, and stuffings. By consuming groats, we provide the body with valuable vegetable protein, as well as vitamins (mainly from group B) and minerals (iron, copper, potassium, and phosphorus). Barley groats are not only nutritious but also very tasty. They differ from pearl barley in the degree of processing of the grains, which are more intensively processed in pearl barley.
