xBroom - Ruscus aculeatus.
The strong meat broom now belongs to the mouse or broom family (it was formerly part of the lily family). It is a low, evergreen shrub. Theophrastus (c. 370-287 BC), a Greek scientist and philosopher, student and friend of Aristotle, described the health-promoting properties of ruszczyk as a plant with almost miraculous properties. Until the post-war period of the 20th century, it was used only in herbal medicine and naturopathy, but after studies in France, conventional medicine also recognized its magnificent properties. It has been confirmed that ruszczyk is a raw material with many uses and properties, the most important of which, however, is its activity related to the circulatory system.
