Ground milk thistle is used to make dietary supplements, specifically the seeds extracted from its fruits. They contain valuable plant sterols, fatty acids, essential oils, and compounds with antioxidant properties such as vitamin E and silymarin. The latter supports the digestive system, and especially the liver, by promoting cell renewal and toxin metabolism. Milk thistle is used as a dietary supplement to improve digestion; therefore, for best results, it is recommended to consume it with or immediately after meals.

Drink 1 cup of infusion 3 times a day, prepared by adding 1 teaspoon of our Milk Thistle Infusion (4 g) to a glass of water. The seeds can also be added to salads, sandwiches, or dishes. A daily dose of 3 teaspoons contains 12 g of milk thistle seeds.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. A food supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a sufficiently varied diet.
