Almonds are a valuable source of easily absorbable calcium. Only 28 g of almonds are as much as 70 mg of calcium. They also contain a lot of protein - about 20 g in 100 g of the product. They are rich in vitamins: E (240 mg / 100 g), which protects against the negative effects of free radicals, strengthens the walls of blood vessels and protects against cardiovascular diseases, and B2, which plays an important role in the proper functioning of the nervous system and vision. Almonds contain far more unsaturated fats than saturated ones. They do not contain harmful trans fats, which should definitely be avoided in the diet. So it's not the amount but the type of fat that matters, so paradoxically, fat can be healthy.

Almonds have a beneficial effect on health, especially on the circulatory system and reduce the risk of coronary heart disease, as they are a rich source of magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, many vitamins soluble in fat and unsaturated fatty acids.
