DESCRIPTION
The maitake mushroom, also known as the dancing mushroom or ram's head mushroom, is a species of mushroom with the scientific name Grifola frondosa. It is an edible mushroom valued for its flavor and health benefits. Maitake is widely used in cooking and folk medicine, especially in Asian countries such as Japan and China.
