Lutein is a naturally occurring yellow-orange pigment belonging to the carotenoid group. The lutein contained in this product is derived from marigold extract. The most important property of carotenoids is their antioxidant effect (they neutralize the damaging effects of free radicals). Lutein (one of the carotenoids with the most powerful antioxidant properties) neutralizes free radicals that form in the eyeball under the influence of sunlight and the resulting oxidative damage. Most lutein accumulates in the macula—the structure of the eye responsible for color vision and visual acuity.

Lutein, capsule shell: gelatin, sunflower oil, humectant: glycerin, emulsifier: carob tree extract, purified water, surface-treated substance: yellow beeswax, natural tocopherol

METHOD OF USE
One capsule per day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This product should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.
