Lutein is a naturally occurring yellow-orange pigment belonging to the carotenoid group. The "free" lutein contained in this product is derived from marigold extract. The most important property of carotenoids is their antioxidant effect (they neutralize the damaging effects of free radicals). Lutein (one of the carotenoids with the most powerful antioxidant properties) neutralizes free radicals that form in the eyeball under the influence of sunlight and the oxidative damage it causes. Most lutein accumulates in the macula—the structure of the eye responsible for color vision and visual acuity. Lutein (along with zeaxanthin) is found in the retina and lens.

INGREDIENTS
Lutein, capsule shell: gelatin, sunflower oil, humectant: glycerin, purified water, glazing agent: beeswax, soy lecithin, preservative: natural tocopherols.

APPLICATION
One capsule per day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This product should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.

RECOMMENDED STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store at room temperature and out of reach of small children. This product is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
