DESCRIPTION

Lutein is a naturally occurring yellow-orange pigment from the carotenoid group. The "free" lutein contained in this product comes from marigold extract. The most important property of carotenoids is their antioxidant effect (they neutralize the damaging effects of free radicals). Lutein (one of the carotenoids with the most powerful antioxidant properties) neutralizes free radicals that form in the eyeball under the influence of sunlight and the oxidative damage that initiates them. Most lutein accumulates in the macula—the structure of the eye responsible for color vision and image sharpness. Lutein (together with zeaxanthin) is found in the retina of the eye and in the lens.

INGREDIENTS
Lutein, capsule shell: gelatin, sunflower oil, humectant: glycerin, purified water, polishing agent: beeswax, soy lecithin, preservative: natural tocopherols.

APPLICATION
One capsule daily. Do not exceed the recommended daily servings. This product cannot be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.
