The health properties of dandelion are due to the numerous chemical compounds it contains. These active ingredients include phenols, terpenes, unsaturated fatty acids, proteins, and carbohydrates. Additionally, the plant contains a wealth of minerals such as potassium, magnesium, iron, silicon, and vitamins A, B, C, and D. For this reason, the entire plant - including flowers, leaves, and roots - is used for medicinal purposes. However, the concentration of these valuable ingredients is highest in the underground part of the plant.

Protective properties
Dandelion extractsprotect the liver, heart, and kidneys - thanks to their high content of antioxidants. They prevent the formation of free radicals, i.e., factors responsible for oxidative stress, which subsequently leads to pathological changes in these organs. Preparation method:
For a heaped teaspoon of coffee (approx. 6 g) use 100 ml of hot water at 90 - 95°C. Dandelion root coffee can be prepared using the following methods: Pour-over, drip coffee, French Press, Chemex, traditional preparation method (Pour-over).
