Resveratrol is a naturally occurring phytoalexin produced by some higher plants, i.e., plants with an advanced structure and reproductive methods. Resveratrol is a response to stress caused by damage, fungal infections, or the effects of environmental pollution, thus acting as a defense substance when threatened. It is a derivative of stilbene, which belongs to the group of plant polyphenols, which are widely recognized as compounds with extremely beneficial health effects.
Liposomes are structures that spontaneously form from phospholipids. They take the form of water (or an aqueous solution)-filled vesicles measuring 0.01–1 micrometers, surrounded by a double lipid layer approximately 5 nanometers thick; therefore, they are also called phospholipid vesicles. Their shell resembles biological membranes. Phospholipid vesicles are biocompatible (consisting of the same components as our body's cell membranes) and small enough to penetrate blood vessel walls. Liposomes have the ability to transport both water and lipids, making them an ideal system for transporting substances needed by our body's cells.
DIRECTIONS : Shake well before use. Add 5 ml to water or fruit juice twice daily using a measuring cup.
Storage : Store in a sealed container at room temperature, out of reach of small children. Once opened, refrigerate for up to 2 months.
