DESCRIPTION

Flaxseed oil is an excellent source of Omega-3, Omega-6 and Omega-9, maintaining optimal ratios between these acids.
ALA acid, part of Omega-3, lowers insulin levels and improves insulin sensitivity, has a protective effect on the cardiovascular system, lowers LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the serum, and also has anti-inflammatory properties. Linoleic acid reduces serum triglycerides and lowers blood pressure. It is necessary for proper body growth and also plays an important role in skin pigmentation and the healing of damaged epidermis. Oleic acid reduces the risk of cholesterol oxidation in the LDL fraction, lowering its concentration in the serum while increasing the concentration of the HDL fraction.
