The most popular barley groats. The technological process is similar to Masurian groats; it is obtained by cutting and breaking barley groats. This method of production preserves the health benefits of the groats, retaining slightly more fruit and seed shell particles. However, like all other barley groats, it belongs to the group of natural, whole-grain, highly valuable cereal products. Country groats are often found in soups, for example, in the popular krupnik. Combining them with dried mushrooms or champignons and wrapping them in cabbage leaves makes a wonderful stuffed Lenten cabbage.
