The L. rhamnosus strain prevents pathogens from entering the intestinal epithelium and inhibits the growth of microorganisms. The presence of FOS in the colon causes a 20% increase in calcium and magnesium absorption. Fructooligosaccharides have the ability to lower cholesterol levels.
