The formulation represents the latest developments in production technology and biochemistry of probiotic supplements. The bacterial strains offered by Solgar are alive. All strains are obtained from the first passage. The bacterial strains are resistant to high concentrations of stomach acid, but for additional protection, the products in this line are encapsulated in a microcapsule with a polysaccharide matrix, which improves their survival in the digestive system. The capsule dissolves very quickly and the polysaccharide gel in the capsule forms a protective matrix around the bacteria. This gel is resistant to stomach acid and only dissolves in the less acidic environment of the duodenum, where the bacteria can perform their function in the digestive tract. The new strains were tested in an acidic environment similar to that of the stomach and were able to survive for two hours, so unlike regular probiotics, they can be taken during a meal.
Maintaining proper gut flora has a positive effect on the body's immunity. It also influences the proper absorption of nutrients from food. This may increase the absorption of micronutrients from food.

USAGE
Adults 2 capsules daily.
Best taken with a meal or as directed.
