This dietary supplement contains turmeric in three forms: turmeric powder, standardized turmeric extract, and NovaSol turmeric extract. The micellar solubilization of NovaSol turmeric increases its bioavailability by 185 times. NovaSol turmeric extract is standardized for at least 6% curcuminoids (4.75–5.5% curcumin). Turmeric and black pepper contain active ingredients that have a positive effect on our bodies. Turmeric and pepper originate from India and have been used in oriental cuisine for thousands of years. They are valued not only for their flavor. Turmeric contains the polyphenol curcumin and the pepper alkaloid piperine, a substance that stimulates digestion and improves the absorption of iron, vitamin B6, and selenium.
