Copper is the third most abundant trace element in the human body. The largest amounts are found in skeletal muscle, skin, bone marrow, brain, and liver. Copper has antioxidant properties. It reduces the amount of free radicals in the body and has a protective effect on cells. As a result, it has a positive effect on immunity and can slow down the aging process. Together with iron, it helps in the proper transport of oxygen to cells. Copper also has a positive effect on maintaining proper skin and hair pigmentation and contributes to the proper condition of bone tissue. It also has a positive effect on the skeletal system.
The product contains citrate, gluconate, and copper sulfate – these forms are highly digestible. Each copper form contains 1/3 of the copper ion content. High dosage, up to 2.5 mg of copper ions.
