SURFACE APPEARANCE: Regular block of canned goods, corresponding to the shape of the packaging used - with smooth and even surfaces, surrounded by a small amount of jelly.
CONSISTENCY: Block fairly firm, jelly – solid at 15 °C, semi-liquid at 18 °C. Good binding.
APPEARANCE OF THE SECTION: The block color is pink to dark pink, and the jelly is straw-yellow and clear. Color in cross-section: Binding mass - pink, flesh pieces - pink to dark pink. Coarsely ground ingredients, clearly visible in cross-section.
TASTE AND ODOR PROFILE: Typical taste of sterilized canned lean cured pork. Noticeable salt.
