GOYA Alcaparrons are pickled, oval-shaped capers. They have a characteristic petiole and are formed after the caper flowers bloom. Interestingly, this process takes only half a day, from morning to afternoon. Alcaparrons have a distinctive sweet and sour, brackish, and slightly spicy flavor. They are a perfect accompaniment to many meat dishes, fish, salads, and pizza, and also serve as an effective garnish.
