For example, the scentless mayweed or the anaerobic marigold are almost identical in appearance. The ability to distinguish these flowers is especially important for herbalists. Chamomile is characterized primarily by its hollow receptacle in the center and emits a pleasant scent when rubbed in the palms of the hands. Neither the scentless mayweed nor the odorless marigold have these properties.

Regular Use of Chamomile - Benefits
With regular use of chamomile, many health problems can be alleviated. Compresses made from its flowers are valuable as they excellently accelerate the wound healing process and also have anti-inflammatory properties. Chamomile is an ideal addition to the daily diet, especially due to its richness in vitamins and minerals. It supports the function of the entire digestive system. The easiest way is to serve it as an infusion, which is very easy to prepare. Simply put a measured portion of the dried herb into a glass, pour boiling water over it, and let it steep covered for 10 minutes. For a chamomile compress, pour hot water over the dried chamomile and immediately wrap it in gauze or linen.
