The oil is obtained from sunflower seeds through cold pressing. It has a mild, slightly nutty flavor, characteristic of sunflower seeds. It is excellent for enhancing cold dishes and sauerkraut salads, salads, dips, sauces, and cheese spreads. Sunflower oil is distinguished by its high content of unsaturated fatty acids, including monounsaturated fatty acids.
