Cold-pressed hemp seed oil has a spicy, nutty flavor and aroma. It has long been a staple in Polish cuisine and is used as a garnish for potatoes, groats, boiled vegetables, salads, and other cold dishes. Hemp oil is characterized by its high content of unsaturated fats, including polyunsaturated fatty acids (EFAs) and a high content of omega-3 fatty acids. Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet contributes to maintaining normal cholesterol levels.
