Borage oil is characterized by its light yellow color and comes from the seeds of a plant called borage ( Borago officinalis L.). Borage belongs to the borage family and is native to Mediterranean countries. In Poland, borage, both cultivated and wild, has been used for centuries as a herbal, cosmetic, and culinary raw material, as well as a honey plant.
Borage seed oil is distinguished by its richness in essential fatty acids ( EFAs ) of linoleic and gamma-linolenic acids . In addition, this unique liquid oil boasts a rich content of flavonoids, tannins, mineral salts—silicon, potassium, zinc, magnesium, and iron—carotene, and vitamin C. The consumption of borage oil is especially recommended for the elderly; its external application is recommended for dry skin and slow-healing wounds.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
