He was the one who invented the popular mixture of flakes and dried fruit known today as muesli.

Despite this complicated process, ground millet grains still contain a number of nutrients that are valuable for our health. Among them are carbohydrates (including starch) , proteins, and essential amino acids. Millet flakes are also a treasure trove of B vitamins. They are also a source of valuable minerals, including zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, calcium, and iron. Interestingly, these flakes also contain a large amount of silica, the basic building block of creatine. Another important fact is that millet flakes are gluten-free. Therefore, they represent a valuable part of the diet of people struggling with celiac disease or gluten intolerance.
