Ash Chestnut produces a dark, cool brown effect depending on hair type and color. However, it is most commonly used as a color corrector, cooling dark brown. It can be used alone or as an additive to the base color in various proportions. The manufacturer recommends the following mixtures: 2/3 4N + 1/3 4C, 1/2 4N + 1/2 4C. It covers up to 30% of gray hair. For more gray hair, or if the gray hair is resistant to coloring, combine 4N + 4C or 3N + 4C in the appropriate ratios as indicated above.
