Honey, or flower nectar collected and processed by bees, is one of the healthiest foods nature has given us. This amber, cream, or dark brown product, beloved by all, boasts, among other things, energy-giving carbohydrates, heart-supporting acetylcholine, vitamins A, B, and C, and minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, cobalt, manganese, molybdenum, and iron. Honey has properties that can accelerate wound healing, lower blood pressure, calm the nerves, support the body in the fight against colds, and soothe sore throats.
Blueberry honey is quite dark golden, aromatic, and sweet. It can be compared to multifloral honey, although you can also smell the blueberry blossoms. Honey crystallizes quite quickly. It is shiny after crystallization.
