Green coffee is raw, unroasted coffee beans. These beans have not yet undergone the pyrolysis process, the breakdown of carbohydrates and fats, so they do not have the same taste and aroma as black coffee. However, the caffeine content remains unchanged.
The coffee beans are light green in color, hence the product's name. Raw, unroasted coffee tastes much milder, more acidic, and almost devoid of bitterness.
