Oatmeal is made from oats. It's very versatile; you can use it to make porridge with water, cow's milk, or plant-based milk. It can be used to make oat flour and as an ingredient in muesli or omelets. Oatmeal is an easily digestible source of carbohydrates, contains a high amount of fiber (up to 11 grams per 100 grams), 14 grams of protein, and healthy fats. It contains vitamins B1, B6, vitamin E, selenium, and magnesium. It also contains flavonoids, which are exceptionally beneficial for a cereal.
