DESCRIPTION
Tambora Chai is an excellent healthy snack for lovers of authentic, intense flavors. After the cocoa beans are removed from the fruit and dried, they are roasted with organic spices, giving them a deep, dark chocolate flavor enriched with oriental notes of cloves and cardamom. They are suitable for grinding whole or for use in desserts or dry dishes.

The cocoa beans of the excellent Criollo variety come from the Fair Trade Cooperativa Argaria Cafeterela "Satipo" cooperative in Peru. Cocoa trees are cultivated there in a completely natural way in the shade of trees, creating a more natural ecosystem, and birds nesting in the treetops are a natural enemy of many potential pests. The Satipo cooperative has been part of the Fair Trade system for many years, which allows it to finance training and educational projects for its members.
