DESCRIPTION
Satipo is an excellent healthy snack for lovers of original, intense flavors. After being separated from the cacao fruit, fermented, and dried, the beans are roasted, giving them a deep, dark chocolate flavor. They are suitable for grinding whole or for preparing desserts or dry dishes.

The cocoa beans of the excellent Criollo variety come from the Fair Trade Cooperativa Argaria Cafeterela "Satipo" cooperative in Peru. Cocoa trees are cultivated there in a completely natural way in the shade of trees, creating a more natural ecosystem, and birds nesting in the treetops are a natural enemy of many potential pests. The Satipo cooperative has been part of the Fair Trade system for many years, which allows it to finance training and educational projects for its members.
