Kale is a botanical variety of cabbage. It belongs to the cabbage family and is one of the oldest crops of its kind. Cultivated since ancient times as an ornamental and edible plant, it does not occur in the wild.
Kale is one of the healthiest leafy greens. It is characterized by a high content of fiber and vitamin K, which is rare in vegetables. In addition, its leaves contain iron, magnesium, zinc, potassium, phosphorus and calcium, essential for the proper functioning of our body.
Recommended for salads, cocktails, soups, stews and sandwiches.
